Background Information: I grew up in Port Elizabeth and started playing cricket at the age of 14. I played school cricket & SAPS club cricket. I got my provincial colors playing for EP u/19’s in 1998. After school I moved to the Boland area where I continued my cricket career with the Boland Senior Women’s team in 2000. I am currently working for SAPS and still enjoy cricket on both club & provincial level
Career Highlights:
- Batting at #3 for in the batting lineup for Boland was definitely a hightlight
- Being awarded the Best Fielder award by Boland in 2006/2007 season
- Best bowling figures 4/4 in 4 overs vs EP

Why do you love Cricket and why is it so important to you?
- At a young age I played both cricket and soccer. It got to a stage where I had to choose between the sport codes. My dad took an interest in my cricket and started coaching me and my love for cricket was born. Cricket is important to me to help develop the women’s game and to achieve my ultimate dream – that’s to represent my country in a sport I love.

- Continue dreaming and reach for the moon, not the stars. If you don’t reach the moon the stars will always still be there.
