Background Information: I was brought up exposed to many sports as a result of my parents background (i.e Bowls, Provincial Baseball/Softball players). My sister and I bought a cricket set and roped my dad in (playing in the backyard) and the rest is history. After this I used to plaster my walls with posters of my favourite teams and cricketers and also nagged my dad to take me to Kingsmead (we lived in Natal) and in later years to Springbok Park (Bloemfontein) to watch provincial games

- A cliché, but cricket is like life when you are on a high it quickly takes you down and levels you to realize that you must appreciate those moments of triumph and when in a dip, work hard to overcome it. What you put in is what you get out, therefore the analogy to life. Don’t let anyone get in your way if it is what you want...
