Background Information: I grew up in Paarl, South Africa. Started playing backyard cricket with the boys at age 7, joined a club and started playing for Boland Women’s side at the age of 15. Started out as a opening bowler, but broke my ankle in 2000, while in rehabilitation started bowling off-spin and that turned out great. Boland captain since 2005. Was selected to play for South Africa in 2007, against Pakistan, and has been a member of the team ever since. Selected as captain in 2008. Been working as a teacher at Parow High School since 2005
